Back in the 1990s, the Delicious Doughnuts was a trendy dance floor- and acid-jazz-club, where the new scene of reunited Berlin celebrated. In 1999 a new era (Music wise with House, Soul, Electro and Minimal) started with a new licensee. Today the club still is hip, but attracts a far more international community. The bar offers an exclusive house brand beer called Delicious- Pils, soft and long drinks, diverse brands of absinth as well as a large collection of whisky. After a decade of migrating to the hip new east, Berlin’s nightlife connoisseurs are starting to head back to the old west. A good manifestation of this trend is the comfortable hangout Victoria bar in Schöneberg, a formerly bohemian neighborhood south of the centre. The drinks from victoria owner Stefan Weber (barkeeper of the year "Gault Millau 2001") himself are outstanding in quality and quantity. If you happen to dislike a classic Mai Tai, try Prince Charles instead, a tingly cocktail with Cognac VS, Apricot Brandy, Angostura and champagne.
