Every Thursday and Sunday there is a hot salsa party taking place at the SODA: Watch salseros who move their hips to Latin-American and Cuban rhythms! Why not dance along – or even better: with them?! If you are no professional but rather a beginner, who likes to learn some basic salsa steps come one hour prior and take a professional salsa lesson offered by dancing school Salsa Viva. It only costs 5€ including the entrance fee for the Salsa party afterwards. SODA club is one of the largest clubs in Berlin and fits up to 1,500 guests. Additionally, the inner court yard of the Kulturbrauerei is used during summertime to dance salsa outside under the Berlin night sky!

The small but fine event location „Grüner Salon“ is closed until the middle of October 2009, due to construction work in the neighboring theatre “Volksbühne”. But in November you may once again look forward to a colorful program full of concerts and parties: The music ranges from Indie, New Rave, Jazz, Folk, Blues, Pop, Reggae and Dancehall to Salsa! Every Tuesday takes the so called „SALSAlón“ - Salsa party place. Salsero Fernando Zapata starts with an introduction of basic salsa steps for beginners, continues with some more complex salsa figures until the night ends with a fun party in a relaxed atmosphere. By the way, if you prefer Tango, you should take a glimpse on Thursday night!
